Die offizielle japanische Pokémon-Website hat eine neue Merchandise-Reihe angekündigt, die ab 29. Oktober in japanischen Pokémon Centern erscheint und in der sich Mario und Pikachu ein Stelldichein geben. Genauer gesagt schlüpft Pikachu in die Rolle des bekannten Klempners und rettet seine Prinzessin Diancie vor dem bösen König Turtok.
Angeboten werden dabei unter anderem Plüschfiguren mit Pikachu als verkleideter Mario oder Luigi, Spielkarten, Sammelkartenboxen und auch 3DS-bezogene Artikel.
