Hello dear friends of the BisaBoard Battle Frontier and to all the VGC fanatics,
The BPL committee (BPL meaning Bisafans Pokémon League) proudly presents a new series of live tournaments on weekends offering the BisaBoard users ample opportunities to test out ideas and hone their battling skills for the upcoming European Video Game Championship circuit.
Since there are plenty of players enjoying VGC on both WiFi and Simulators, the live tournament series is offered on both platforms alike!
ZitatAlles anzeigen
- All battles have to be conducted using the Nintendo WiFi Connection
- participation is only possible with a copy of Black / White 2
- it is not allowed to use two Pokémon of the same species in the same team (e.g. 2 Sawks)
- Pokémon have to carry different items
- you'll be entering the WiFi club with 6 Pokémon
- Handicap options for the battle: Double Battle, Handicap, Miracle Shooter off
- Freefall and Dark Void are banned from use
- the following Pokémon are not allowed: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Chatot, Deoxys, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem as well as the three event Pokémon #647, #648 and #649
- it is not permitted to nickname your Pokémon after another Pokémon species. Offensive nicknames are banned from use, too
- hax flaming and other lack of sportsmanship is strictly forbidden and the offender WILL suffer severe consequences. Be fair
Live tournament means that a registration thread for the tournament will be posted half an hour prior to its beginning and as soon as the tournament begins, all matches have to be played immediately. The tournaments are played in Single Elimination mode (one loss eliminates you from the tournament) if the tournament organizer does not post anything to the contrary and announces a different mode
We've had these live tournaments as VGC preparation for some years now but the big news this year is that the results of this year's tournaments will be used to set up a ranking. The tournament series will be tentatively running until German Nationals and after it is over, the 8 best players in the ranking will be invited to play in one final tournament, the "BisaBoard VGC13 Championship". As for prizes in this tournament, I am glad to inform you that you can win exclusive user titles and avatars if you manage to get to the top!
WiFi and simulator tournaments are held separately and there will be separate rankings for both of these. The final tournament will be separated as well.
We're offering this in addition to the normal circuit of live tournaments that are taking place here every sunday. If there are not enough users playing in these tournaments (meaning several times less than 8), the series will end.
If the user base shows appropriate interest and the events are successful, the probability of repeating this series between Nationals and Worlds is high!
Schedule-wise it looks like this:
WiFi:
The live tournaments' start time will change between Saturday 4PM (German time) and Friday 6PM (German time). Registration will open half an hour before. You can enter the tournament by posting your forum name (an account on bisaboard.de is therefore required) and your friend code like this "your_nickname / 1234 6789 0123"
Simulator:
The live tournaments' start time will change between Sunday 3PM (German time) and Friday 6PM (German time). Registration will open half an hour before.
